Tonight (Feb 20th) will be Week 10 and therefore last week of regular play in the Cricket League.
Playoffs will start the following week with the Top 2 ranked teams having a BYE and teams 3 to 6 playing in sudden death playoffs.
Home team for each match is the higher seed.
- Teams 1 and 2 BYE
- Team 6 plays Team 3 at Home
- Team 5 plays Team 4 at Home
Following Week 1 playoffs resume with the lowest remaining ranked team playing Team 1 at home, and the 2nd lowest ranked team playing Team 2 at home.
Since there are 12 matches, if there is a tie at the end of the night (6-6) it will be settled by a single game of cricket with 4 players from each team involved. If a team has less than 4 players, they would miss a throw for each missing person’s shot.
Players are required to have played 3 weeks to qualify for playoffs.
Recycling is allowed in playoffs only with the permission of the opposing captain, which is usually denied, so make sure your players are out!
